The Watkins Street Cemetery is one of Natchez’ oldest African American cemeteries. Today it is being preserved and maintained by the Worthy Women of Watkins Street Cemetery Association, Mrs. Thelma T. White, President.

We are appealing to you for help as donations and memberships are our only source of income at this time. The annual membership fee is $10.00. Any concerned citizen can join and attend our regular meetings usually held at the Natchez Historic Foundation at 108 South Commerce Street.

If you are not interested in membership, memorials and honorariums are gratefully appreciated. All donations will be acknowledged and are tax deductible. Thank you.
