Greetings all! The above image is a copy of the exhibit panel to go in the Vicksburg National Military Park's Visitor's Center on March 21, 2007. I will check at the end of the day to see if it is up and make the announcement at the USCT Symposium in Raleigh, North Carolina this week end.

The exhibit is permanent and will have figures of USCT. Also, the Navy boat preserved as an exhibition in the Park will have a couple of African descent figures as well.

I think the background for this panel will have the Navy gunboat in it. I want to take pictures of the whole exhibit when I get back to Natchez. Then we can put the whole thing up on our Forks of the Roads website.  - http://www.forksoftheroads.net/ -

So this is the work of Norman Fisher and Ser Boxley at Vicksburg, the sacred cow of the neo-confederates in this neck of Mississippi.
